This is the first time, first year me and my hubby celeberate our family’s first chinese new year together. In our new house. Start from a small family. Okey, plus our new family member, bie bie and mike.

First time to give red pocket to the kids, junior relatives, nephews or nieces. Giving them blessing and a good luck. Fun. And also to the eldest, our senior, like parents, grands.

Just make me remember when i was a little girl. All the beautiful new dresses, special hair do, the new shoes. Argh, so unforgetful u know that. My dad was so proud when driving me and my brother to relatives house (pai cia). He always proud of me, his pony doll. I look very japanese dolly look. With the black long hai, with pony. My eyes black as my hair. Small face. And the fun of collecting red pocket. Haha. Usually the money inside red pocket, my mum will help me to save it. She would save and buy me a bracelet or ankle chain (gelang kaki, haha). She thought me to save since i am very young.

Chinese lunar new year is a very good tradition. All chinese people wish for the best for each other. Not talking the bad things passed. Forgiving and wishing. Dinner and cooking for entire family, so, all member gonna spend a special time for family reunion and have a dinner together. Good, isn’t it?

I believe, this chinese lunar new year also a good start and a sign of blessing for this entire year. I wish u a good health, luck, friends. Gong Xi Fa Chai. God bless.
