Just For Fun #7 : Hearty Apples
Dear all… Anyong haseooooo! Good day to you all! ^^
Today I’m going to have fun with APPLESSSS. Yes, the tiny cute little apple. :) who doesn’t love apples ;D
So, my husband’s placement at Pasir Ris Methodist Church has ended this semester.We are going to serve at another new church for the new semester. AS THIS REALLY-REALLY busy week passed , on Saturday afternoon, we JUST realized, we are supposed to make something for Peranakan Service member @Pasir Ris Methodist church as a small small farewell gift.
I only have couple hours to make something meaningful, simple yet adorable, and memorable. *think hardddd, super hardddd* What to make, what to makeeee???
And a sentence striked in my head, haha!
“You are the apples of my eyes.”
As psalm wrote, Psalm 17 : 8 “Keep me as the apple of your eye;
hide me in the shadow of your wings”
Yep. Apples.
Promise, really really easy one.
All you need :
Apples (don’t wash, don’t fridge) , transparent plastic bag with vinyl string, red ribbon, Small wood pin with a heart shaped ^^ (I cut the heart shaped using flannel fabric and tape it to the small wood pin using double tape.)
Cut a heart shaped flannel fabric and stick it to the small wood pin.
And a label, this cute label also made by me haha!

Let’s get started. ^.*
Then…. put the apple into the transparent bag one by one carefully, you may choose not too big apple to fit into your plastic bag. And make sure the apples are dry.
Tie it tight with vinyl string.
Tie a bow using red ribbon.
Sweet, isn’t it? >.<
and last, just clip the label on the top of the plastic using small wood pin.
DONE.
SUPER EASY right?

The longest time I spent was only when I edited the labels only, hahahaha.
Different color of the heart shaped small wood pin bring contrast to the apples. ^^
Excuse my lighting, I made this all when night time, so the lighting not in a perfect timing. ^^
Will take pic tomorrow morning for a better pic quality.
I think we ready for sweet farewell gift tomorrow, be good apples!!!! ^^

It is colorful,
it bring message to Peranakan Service Member.
a message that we hope will remind them for something more beyond beautiful…
That they are precious in God’s eyes. They are the apple of God’s eyes.
So here it is, my hearty apples that bring message, a farewell, a thanks, a grateful, big love and prayer to them. It will not ended so early, we still going to meet. But for a while we move to new place to learn, to see, to fight. So we can back and give more in future.
